Job Responsibilities:

Assess Vendors Process Capability and Provide technical Instructions as needed
Fixture, Tooling and Process Equipment Design, Evaluation, and qualification
Lead the Pre-manufacturing and prototyping process.
Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford
Perform Process Time Study using MOST or other similar methods
Responsible for the day-to-day function of the CNC – Programming department
Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level
Work and collaborate with Cross Functional team to achieve set goals
Responsible for training Team members and Shop floor staff for new products and processes.
Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions
Prepare Process Work Instructions for Shop Floor Personnel
Responsible for Studying, evaluating or improving the Manufacturing process Capability.
Create and Maintain Process Routing and other Process Parameters

Job Requirements:

Knowledge in Microsoft Office
Lean and Six Sigma Knowledge
Strong organization and time-management skills.
2D and 3D Cad experience – preferably with CREO
Ability to work as part of cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of MRP/ERP – preferably JDE
CAD CAM knowledge
Knowledge in various Time Study and Process Improvement techniques.

Qualification & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
Minimum 7 years’ experience in Lead Role
