Be part of our Sales & Proposal team as a Proposals Engineer for Baggage Handling Systems in Dubai, UAE.

Job Responsibilities:

Preparation of BOQ’s & BOM’s to support the estimation function.
Conduct detailed site surveys of both brown and green field sites in potential opportunities regionally and internationally if required.
Development of material flows diagrams capturing the key performance & design parameters to validate the system concepts.
Collaborate and present to other Industry experts, consultants, clients, and subcontractors on the technical aspects of the system design.
Written explanation of the system function and operation for inclusion in the offer documentation.
Develop & Finalize the System Solutions in 3D using AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks.
Generation of the proposal drawings to be submitted with the offers.
Steelwork overviews, taking into consideration the O&M activities and coordination of the same with the relevant departments for estimation, procurement, and planning.
Perform spatial analysis of the system design within the building constraints, considering O&M, Access/Egress, H&S, and Evacuation requirements.
Value Engineering of the system design to develop cost-effective system solutions for all Bids & Proposals, including selecting OEM system components, input on pricing estimates, manpower plans, and associated phasing/scheduling activities.

Job Requirements:

Able to demonstrate experience in reviewing/analyzing tender requirements from all aspects of technical, performance, and operational needs.
Able to demonstrate how you have/can effectively communicate with multi-disciplines and to which levels.
Ability and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally if required.
Demonstrate any key situations where you have made a positive impact to influence the system design and subsequent contract award.
Understanding of Animation, Simulation & BIM would be advantageous.
Flexible working approach and capability to manage own workload, a team player who is also able to train others and share knowledge.
Good written and spoken English.

Qualification & Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in 3D layout development using AutoCad, Revit, and NavisWorks.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
