Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented material engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to oversee the scheduling and control of construction materials and equipment to ensure effective and timely completion of the project.

Job Responsibilities:

Plans and executes required audit activities (schedules, plans, reports, finding resolutions, etc.).
Designs and establishes material and equipment inventory and tracking systems.
Establishes procedures for the of materials such as control of piping, valves, fittings and electrical, instrumentation, and consumable supplies and tools.
May be responsible for field purchasing.
Performs and adequately documents Internal Quality Audits of assigned office, projects and jobsites, and manages all related follow-up activities. Audits conducted to assure compliance with Parsons standards, contract requirements, and applicable codes, specifications and drawings, including but not limited to: Design, Engineering, Estimating, Procurement, Project
Controls, Vendor/Subcontractor Management, Receiving, Handling & Storage, Construction.
Expedites both field and home office purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Oversees receiving, offloading, storage, and issuance of construction materials.

Job Requirements:

Proficient PC skills including a familiarity with various software used for inventory control, such as Document and Materials Controls System (DMCS), are also required.
Requires a working knowledge of construction related processes, as well as a familiarity with industry practices.

Qualification & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science.
Mandatory 10+ years of overall experience of which at least 5+ years experience should be within UAE.
