Office Boy Jobs – Administration and Accounts Officer

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support staff with project accounting (e.g. budgeting).
  • Arrange trades/service providers as required.
  • Assist project and other office staff with administrative tasks on an as needs basis.
  • Prepare creditor cheques for signing by the CEO, ACER Dubai.
  • Ensure office equipment (photocopier, fax, printer, etc) is in sound operating order.
  • Maintain all filing of records and documents as required.
  • Raise client invoices as required and follow up on payments.
  • Reconcile the bank statement to the cashbook on a monthly basis.
  • Record all financial transactions (Receipts & Payments) in the cashbook.
  • Forward to the Head Office the reconciled cashbook monthly.
  • Maintain an attractive office environment.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be well versed with VAT requirements and filing of VAT in the UAE.
  • A degree in commerce and/or accounting is preferred but not essential.
  • Be well organized with an eye for details and have a capacity to exercise commonsense and respond expeditiously to matters arising with respect to reception services.
  • Must be proficient in English with strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • 5 years’ experience as an Accounts Officer is required including administrative experience.
