Job Responsibilities:
- Support staff with project accounting (e.g. budgeting).
- Arrange trades/service providers as required.
- Assist project and other office staff with administrative tasks on an as needs basis.
- Prepare creditor cheques for signing by the CEO, ACER Dubai.
- Ensure office equipment (photocopier, fax, printer, etc) is in sound operating order.
- Maintain all filing of records and documents as required.
- Raise client invoices as required and follow up on payments.
- Reconcile the bank statement to the cashbook on a monthly basis.
- Record all financial transactions (Receipts & Payments) in the cashbook.
- Forward to the Head Office the reconciled cashbook monthly.
- Maintain an attractive office environment.
Job Requirements:
- Must be well versed with VAT requirements and filing of VAT in the UAE.
- A degree in commerce and/or accounting is preferred but not essential.
- Be well organized with an eye for details and have a capacity to exercise commonsense and respond expeditiously to matters arising with respect to reception services.
- Must be proficient in English with strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- 5 years’ experience as an Accounts Officer is required including administrative experience.
