Job Description:

To oversee the Prime Contractor (PC) and Sub-contractors/Sub-suppliers to ensure the Mechanical construction and installation activities for the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP) are performed in accordance with the contract terms and conditions to the highest safety and quality standards while achieving cost and schedule plans.

Job Responsibilities:

Follow all relevant company’s HSE policies, processes, procedures and instructions to ensure HSE compliance in all aspects of work in accordance with sound management practices by applying these HSE policies and procedures to self and others to take reasonable care for the health and safety of people, or the environment, who are at the employee’s place of work who may be affected by the employees acts or omissions at work.
Recommend stoppage of work when the required quality or safety of work operations are in doubt in order to ensure work excellence and ethics regarding safety measures.
Facilitate communication both internally and externally in order to build and nurture mutually beneficial working relationships.
Support the theme of Plan-Do-Check-Act process, and reflect this in department procedures, processes and execution of the BNPP works.
Recommend corrective actions or methods of repair for any deficiency or non-conformance identified in order to ensure work is carried out in an adequate and correct manner.
Inform and report all issues that may effect on project progress to the Head of Construction Mechanical & Piping.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in NPP construction and engineering industry and or experience on large capital projects and in similar/related position in the UAE, GCC region or worldwide
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or High School Diploma with relevant Nuclear Power Plant work experience
