Job Responsibilities:

Recommend the risk appetite and tolerances to the Board of Directors.
Develop and maintain ERM policies, processes, and procedures and ensure alignment.
Aggregate identified risks and escalate to CEO, Audit & Risk Committee and the Board in accordance with risk assessment results.
Oversee the design and implementation of the different RM disciplines across Nakheel.
Facilitate the strategic risk assessment workshops.
Develop enterprise-wide RM strategies and implementation plans.
Review the risks identified by the subsidiaries, business units and departments and ensure all material risks are properly escalated to the right level within Nakheel.
Identify RM training needs of the Executive Management, Risk Champions and relevant stakeholders.
Engage the heads of business units, departments, CEO, Audit & Risk Committee, and Board in discussions regarding events that could lead to potential losses or missed opportunities.
Conduct periodic reviews of material risks.
Monitor implementation timeliness and effectiveness of the risk treatment strategies.
