Job Description:
The Executive Assistant reports directly to the Principal and works closely with members of the Senior Leadership Team, providing information management support to enhance their effectiveness.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure the GEMS policies, procedures, and codes of conduct are followed at all times
- With relevant secretarial training and qualifications, you will have proven experience as an all-round executive level PA
- Organize the logistics of board meetings and other key internal meetings.
- Provide high quality reception and hospitality for the Principal’s visitors and those seeking to communicate with Principal.
- Coordinate and distribute notes at management meetings as requested. Type up notes as requested.
- Prepare materials, packets, and presentations for Principal’s meetings, senior management team meetings, off-sites, and all-staff meetings.
- Manage Principal’s appointment calendar as well as all his/her professional communication and public relations needs.
- Maintain high quality communication from and within the Principal’s office. Liaise with tact and diplomacy with school staff, parents and representative of the GEMS Corporate Office.
Job Requirements:
- With relevant secretarial training and qualifications, you will have proven experience as an all-round executive level PA
- Digitally savvy and adept at using social media
- Open and collaborative working style; must be comfortable in an environment where ideas are shared and challenged.
- Passionate and enthusiastic
- Exceptional presentation, scheduling, and communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and time management skills, together with diplomacy, tact, and well-developed organizational skills.
- Knowledge of the education sector is desirable
