Job Responsibilities:

The job holder manages the overall coordination and evaluation of Fixed Asset related activities.
Oversee the process of reconciliation of Asset ledgers with physical assets on a quarterly basis.
Oversee, review and prepare reports including Fixed Asset schedule, Depreciation Schedule, Aged analysis of Assets by Business Unit and Location;
Perform professional accounting activities; oversee and perform complex reconciliations and analyses;
Provide annual budget information; monitor asset movements and identify areas for improvement and implements corrective actions.
Ascertain the accuracy of Fixed Asset standard files and post information for assigned accounting activities into the Asset ledger and general ledger

Job Requirements:

Time management and workload efficiency skills
Ability to adjust to diverse ideas, impressions, schemes, and tactics from individuals or changing preferences.
Graduate in accounting or commerce or equivalent
Readiness to go extra mile to avoid mistakes and produce new opportunities
Being conversant with internal control procedures and concepts
Minimum 5 years in the area of Finance
Persistence in finishing projects in spite of hindrances
