Job Description:

Responsible for overall operations of the engineering function of EPC Division while ensuring that projects are delivered within safety, quality and budgetary targets set by the management. Implement Technical assurance of designed Process facilities. Implement engineering best practices.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide key discipline Know-how in house to advise the Organisation on developments, and provide inputs to Tender efforts.
  • Responsibility for employee recruitment, training, performance evaluation, retention and termination activities.
  • Ensure Technical Assurance and Compliance of all Engineering activities.
  • Responsibility for resource recruitment and allocation of personnel for Projects.
  • Liaise with Project Managers / Client / IVB & Class Societies as necessary for discussion on project resolution issues.
  • Develop system and Procedures for execution of Process Topsides of EPC projects.
  • Coordinate and direct projects, resource needs, and market demand, to plan and deliver projects on-time and within budget.
  • Supervise the day-to-day operations of the Engineering function to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes and procedures.

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong background with resolution of technical issues during planning and execution phases.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and successfully execute tasks in accordance with business objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong Leadership and business management skills
  • Broad Engineering knowledge in O&G topsides facilities, offshore construction including EPC.
  • Ability and experience in identifying and navigating organizational changes, a keen interest in international trends in engineering.
  • Project management skills.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Leading engineering teams in high value oil & gas EPC projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil/Structural Engineering, Process Engineering or equivalent.
  • Wide experience as Engineering Manager in Offshore Projects.
