Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and managing electrical work activities on board and workshop and ensure the projects are delivered within safety, quality and budgetary targets set by the management.

Job Responsibilities:

Carry out technical review quotations provided by the Project Manager or New Building Estimation and make recommendations on the technical suitability of each.
Participate in design reviews and take necessary follow up actions with relevant bodies.
Identify, select and design electrical system / equipment for projects as required
Perform verification of, but not limited to: electrical drawings, cable schedules, termination drawings, equipment layout, fabrication and installation drawings.

Job Requirements:

Strong problem solving, technical, math and science skills
Strong written and verbal communication

Qualification & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Experience in shipyard environment.
