Job Description:

This role will have responsibility for leading high transactional backend microservices development using Java, Spring Boot, SQL, and No-SQL databases with cloud services. Responsible to lead the backend engineers in an agile development environment to implement, review, test, and deploy the backend software components.

Job Responsibilities:

Hands-on participation in development and bug fixing.
Participate in requirement, design, implementation, testing, and support of custom solutions development including features enhancements, new functionalities, and back-end systems integration.
Ability to co-ordinate multi-teams, to understand business requirements, technical design, and preparing of technical specifications.
Contribute to design/code reviews for quality assurance based on Americana’s standards/guidelines.
Assist in the estimation of efforts and timescales for tasks delegated to the team.
Monitor and report backend technical execution progress as well as all technical issues, risk, or mitigation plan in a timely manner.

Job Requirements:

Exposure to Java MVC frameworks such as Spring Boot.
At least 8 years of working experience in Java EE development (preferably from the food-tech/e-commerce industry).
Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and/or troubleshooting, and resolving complex issues.
Working experience with AKS, Azure DevOps, GitHub, Azure AD, MongoDB Atlas, CDN (Akamai preferable).
Working experience on Docker, Kubernetes, Spring Boot, open-source RDBMS, NoSQL, Event oriented systems.
Experience in various Java EE frameworks and GoF design patterns with Microservices architecture.
Involved in implementing applications leverages on various Java EE services including but not limited to Enterprise Java Bean, Java Database Connectivity, and Java Messaging Services.
