Job Description:

R&D Engineer mission will be to coordinate the administrative and technical activities of the center under the supervision of the director of the center.

Job Responsibilities:

The capacity to coordinate, under the supervision of the director, the data collection, analysis and maintain research for continual operation. ability to set up collaborative projects and exchanges in the upstream phases of the project
The implementation and management of administrative activities related to the creation of the center creation of the center (communication, distribution, meetings, appointments, website…) and budget monitoring.
A technical component by participating in monitoring and capitalization. Good knowledge of the Gulf countries in terms of energy, climate and capacity to implement measurement and monitoring protocols is essential.

Job Requirements:

Ability to write reports (testing, analysis, technical) and concept notes and synthesis.
Having the abilities and motivation to support scientific publications in relations with climate issues.
Familiar with the innovation processes and the TRLs and capacities to absorb technological development
Ability to learn the use of modeling software applied to climate issues following the various scales
Have the abilities to apply mathematical models especially those dedicated to integrate uncertainties abd decision making tools.

Qualification & Experience:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in engineering or innovation or research fields of climate change (Urban Heat Island) or energy.
