Job Description:
In this role you will own designing components, features and programs through different parts of shopping experience and sellers experience. You’ll rely on user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences—from concept to execution. This position will work on overlapping projects, so strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task are critical.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop conceptual diagrams, wireframes, detailed visual mockups and prototypes.
- Apply best practices in design guidelines and building design systems.
- Develop and maintain effective specifications and design patterns.
- Design solutions based on user insights and business intelligence that contribute to the success of business objectives.
- Collaborate with design and product by sharing design ideas, and propose initiatives to improve customer experience.
- Provide mentorship for designers and interns.
- Communicate high-level design strategies and detailed interaction behaviors.
Job Requirements:
- At least 5 years of work experience in Interface Design, Interaction Design, or Information Architecture.
- Experience with designing end-user, web-based applications.
- Fluency in best practices for Information Architecture and Interaction Design.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating past work experience and relevant, user-centered design solutions.
- Ability to quickly turn around rigorous wireframes and mockups in an iterative environment.
