Job Description:

Responsible for tracking, improving and safeguarding the quality of Arabic content of the web sites which includes translation, editing and performing quality check. Understand the brand’s tone of voice and be able to translate it seamlessly for a native audience, aware of the differences between our Arabic and English audiences.

Job Responsibilities:

Where possible, check accuracy of upload by checking all click-through functionality, size and fit tabs and dropdowns on the product page.
Manage the translation of the English content into Arabic across all channels including but not limited to landing pages, website/app content, microsites, emails, social media, to optimize the customer experience, contribution to conversion, engagement, page view, bounce rate, time spent on page and click through.
Liaising with the Online Content Marketing Guru & Online Content Marketing Manager on tonality of copy across the site.
Sub edit and translate the product page according to in-house style guides; checking accuracy of copy against images as well as grammar and spelling. Ensuring all copies are clear and concise and localized where relevant.
Reinterpret the brand voice for the Arabic audience whilst maintaining an entirely native tone. Ensure the brands tone of voice is accurate, informative and consistent throughout the site.
Ensuring that the editorial content across all channels reflect the aims, values, house style and tone of each site.

Job Requirements:

Ability to post-edit and/or translate from English
A proven ability to work quickly and efficiently with accuracy and attention to detail.
Good working knowledge of MS Office and CMS systems
Sound knowledge of women’s luxury fashion, seasonal trends, designers and brands as well as strong commercial awareness

Qualification & Experience:

4+ years of experience as a translator, copywriter and/or language specialist
Experience working in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment with competing deadlines and priorities
