Job Description:
Direct, control and manage all aspects of the Retail & Leisure activities; develop business plans; oversee planning and implementation of business plan; lead the implementation of new operational initiatives, resource allocation, organisation structure, and leadership towards achieving the company’s strategy, growth, and profit objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the relationship building activities of the team to ensure optimum rates with airlines, hotels and overseas DMCs for their customers
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the respective branches, ensuring the highest possible service and safety standards for both customers and staff
- Analyse and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results and maintain an up-to-date data of all competitive marketing activities
- Provide information on market opportunities and competitor activity to assist in the development of new product and sales plans
- Identify new markets and manage sources of business that present additional revenue earning opportunities and establish sales and marketing plans with the business development units
Job Requirements:
- Thorough knowledge of IATA rules and regulations involved in the operational area of a travel agency
- At least 8 experience in Leisure & Travel
- Excellent knowledge of local UAE travel markets in general
- Bachelors Degree in a related discipline
- Knowledge of key account management
- Experience in leading teams and motivating them to perform at optimal level
