Job Description:
Experienced in Traffic Control Systems of junctions and pedestrian junctions of Infrastructure development projectsExperienced in design of systems related to Intelligent Transportation Systems(ITS) such as traffic signals and electronic warning and information systems, toll booth, tunnels including dynamic message signs and lane control systems.Understanding of road drawings, road signage and surface marking, traffic signal near rail roads, LRT, one lane, two way and work zones. Freeway and expressway entrance rampsDesign knowledge in sensors, toll tag readers, signal timing concepts, time space diagrams, Lane control signals, traffic signal controllers, roundabout signal controls, sizing of CCTV and FOV calculationsDesign experience in TCS/ITS corridor, ducts/manholes, road crossing ducts, basic understanding of electrical infrastructure including power backup and communication design of traffic control systems including fiber optic cabling,
Qualification & Experience:
- Minimum Bachelors’ Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, 3-5 years of experience in Traffic controls and ITS of Infrastructure design only.
- Design of Traffic Control Systems, Signalized Junctions, tunnels, toll booths and Intelligent transportation systems using Civil3D and Revit MEPExperience and skills including ProjectWise, Infraworks, Navisworks, BIM etc
