Job Description:
Serves as a fully capable professional in an engineering design team. The Senior Engineer plans, (including budget + resources), schedules, organizes, coordinates and executes the design work on any/all phases of development on small to medium scale projects (or distinct portions of larger projects), with regular interaction with an Associate or designated senior team member.
Job Responsibilities:
- Independently performs all the tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering works.
- Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision.
- Provides guidance to entry level engineers.
- Performs specific and moderate portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
- Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered using modifications of standard procedures or methods developed in previous assignements.
- Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.
- Identifies discrepancies in results.
- Performance at this level requires developmental experience in a professional position.
- Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
Job Requirements:
- B. Sc or BEng in Mechanical Engineering, International Accreditation preferred (CEng, MCIBSE, MASHRAEt).
- Minimum 8 years post undergraduate experience
- Local Authority Engineer registration preferred.
