Job Description:

The function also includes giving technical support to the team leader and VP Exploration and representation of technical meetings with OPCO shareholders, vendors and consultants.

Job Responsibilities:

Ensure the division’s operations meet strategic goals in line with best practice standards.
Follow all relevant operational procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
Daily with staff within the Division, function and Directorate regarding project execution
To coach geologists, identify their skills gaps and training needs, organize geological and petroleum engineering training courses and other training courses relevant for exploration geoscientists.

Job Requirements:

10 – 12 years of experience in all aspects of exploration geology including play evaluation, prospect ranking and maturation, exploration well proposal preparation, etc. Good understanding of the various aspects of site mana1.
Experience in prospectively risk analysis and volumetric calculation segment.
15+ years’ experience as geologist and 5 years at least in upper Shuaiba reservoirs in Oman
