Job Description:

We are the largest oil producer within the ADNOC Group, accounting for over half of the UAE’s total oil production. As the country’s oldest oil production company, our operations date back to 1939, when a 75-year concession was signed to explore for oil and gas in Abu Dhabi.

Job Responsibilities:

Determine the most economical/smart drilling and workover methods and tools to be used.
Recommends changes for improvement in line with DOF programme.
Advises on alternative smart drilling methods and equipment.
Development to ensure alignment with DOF programme.
Reviews surface and down-hole equipment requirements and ensure alignment with DOF programme.
Monitors operational procedures and techniques.
Participates in optimization studies in coordination with drilling team on tools, equipment and operations.
Reviews drilling/work over related programs in liaisons with geologists and other engineers in Field

Job Requirements:

6 years’ drilling/workover engineering experience with specific emphasis on drilling technology and blow out prevention techniques and methods relevant to the DOF technologies and subsurface measurements tools.
Advanced courses in Drilling/Completion/Directional Drilling and Blow Out prevention methods and well control certification
Bachelor Degree in Petroleum Engineering, plus and DOF technologies.
