Job Description:

Design, review and architecture for all IT aspects in the Digital Oil Field (DOF) programme. Responsible for the design & implementation of the “Integrated Collaborative Work Environment”(CWE) and ‘Intelligent Operations Center’ (IOC) projects. Ensure final IT deliverable meets functional requirements with other DOF collaboration technologies in total coordination with ITD.

Job Responsibilities:

Provides advice and guidance during the planning phases of information systems to ensure that communications requirements (particularly network response times, volumetric information and security requirements) are reflected in the overall specification in line with the DOF programme.
Ensures the integrity of the operational IT / control / Instrument / Telecom Networks in coordination with assets.
Reviews on network statistics, identifying trends in traffic flow and levels of service and proposes capacity changes as required.
Acts as a consultant to business partners, vendors and assets to provide technical guidance, specifications, designs, planning and network engineering services.
Manages database configuration systems, monitors database activities and resources including allocation of system storage, working with capacity management functions, plans for future storage

Job Requirements:

6 years’ experience in IT with relevant DOF experience or Automation experience in Oil& Gas Industry
Constructs, extends or maintains tests, corrects, and documents the physical database design model to achieve well-engineered products that meet customer expectations.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related discipline.
