Job Description:

To lead and direct the software engineering function in AIQ, by creating a software development strategy in line with company objectives, managing the design and development of software applications, and overseeing data platform activities within AIQ.

Job Responsibilities:

Allocate software engineering resources to provide on-going support to AI solutions teams, data science teams and product manager teams to efficiently run AIQ solutions
Oversee the development of full-stack software development that fulfills AIQ customer requirements with high availability, scalability and low latency
Provide input on the technical feasibility of proposed product requirements and proactively raise concerns around budgets, timelines and scope
Oversee the development, deployment and integrating of software solutions and ensure timely completion of software development activities
Responsible for the overall enterprise wide effectiveness, efficiency and optimization of data center technology platforms in AIQ in ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
Collaborate with product managers to determine necessary software development projects around front-end, user interface, product deployment and product optimization

Job Requirements:

Ability to proactively prioritize workloads, working both independently and as leader of a team
Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Development or related field
Business acumen, proficient leadership and communication skills
Experience in the Oil and Gas or Energy Industry (preferred)
Advanced knowledge in modern programming languages, and software development practices
5 to 7 years of experience from a successful start-up organization or 10 years from a well-established firm
Advanced knowledge of data architecture and platforms
